The chill in the air made us turn on the furnace/heater/radiator thingy last night…. It seems like old man winter is right around the corner. After growing up in Texas and spending most of my life in the heat, I always get a little bit excited at the first mention of snow. This morning on the news I heard the meteorologist mention ‘flurry’.

What time is it getting dark now…we’re in hte dark by around 4:30 and it’s freaking me out!
I’m ready for winter, but the darkness was unexpected.

It’s probably around the same time here- it’s certainly before I leave work at 5. I do miss the beautiful after work sunsets that we’ve had the last few weeks- spectacular!

My friend Tish and I went to see the Lord Mayor’s Fireworks display tonight…it started at 5 pm.
