Hi New Year and all the joy and wonder you bring. Let’s catch up, shall we?? B-Day (41- whoah!- when did all that time happen?), Christmas, anniversary (10 years next year!!) all good. Snowy, wet, cold, messy, winter so far. Registered a domain name for the selling of the goods. Arthritis in check and feeling great (except for pill day….) Sat a cat and realized that the other B is way more allergic than we thought and there may be no lil’ one in our future unless we get a really good air filter/cleaner thingy. Next up- business plan, fun, drinks, and love.

Have an electronic store selling handmade (by me!) goods up and running by the end of the year. Things I will sell- wrapping paper, greeting cards, drawerings, etc. Here’s an example of a site that I love that sells these types of thingies- so cute!!

Things have been pretty low key around the old aaa- we watched ‘The Fan’ with Lauren Bacall last evening. It is so amazingly terrible what with the production numbers and ugly ‘Broadway’ sets and such. That LB is pretty OTT.

… so far at least- it surely has been cold, though. Can’t wait to see our garden with frost/snow in/on it- should be quite a visual treat!

The chill in the air made us turn on the furnace/heater/radiator thingy last night…. It seems like old man winter is right around the corner. After growing up in Texas and spending most of my life in the heat, I always get a little bit excited at the first mention of snow. This morning on the news I heard the meteorologist mention ‘flurry’.

This happened where I grew up and changed Halloween. It was never the same after….

We carved pumpkins on Sunday and will put them out tonight (I think). They will surely be displayed tomorrow night as the neighborhood kids celebrate All Hallows Eve in their get -up’s. Bet we see some of the classics like pirates, clowns, and perhaps a ladybug or cow (these seem to be popular with the little ones). Not sure they really have much say when they are small enough to be carried. Tonight, Halloween (original)- no thanks, Mr. Zombie. “The keys, the keys…” What’s your fave Halloween movie quote?

Continues for the next few days at our house. We’ve seen Carrie, The Shining, Trilogy of Terror, Friday the 13th (1&2), Rosemary’s Baby, Night of the Demons, Deadly Friend, The Sentinel, The Howling, Children of the Corn, ohicantthinkof themall…..
