always an adventure

Dear folks at Coke-

Today, after enjoying a delicious Subway sammich with my colleague (and super cutie) Erin, I thought I would give the soda machine another visit. While perusing the delicious beverage choices (8!), I happened upon Orange Crush. Now I probably haven’t had a Crush of any kind in 20 or so years but man let me tell you, just a bit of Orange Crush mixed in with regular Coke was surely a good flavor combo that I would like to experience again and again. So, the makers of Coke, if you would make this beverage (catchy name I came up with follows), I would surely buy it and drink it and love it.

Wait for it….. Wait for it…….

 Coke á l’Orange

With undying love and support,

Please stop putting songs like, “White Dog Poop in the Seventies”, in my head.
Thank you.

Dear world,

I have noticed that I haven’t yet seen any of the folks from Top Chef Chicago (currently filming here in Chitown). Could you please, at least, throw me a bone with a Padma, Tom (roawr!), or Ted sighting?

Thanks-

B

Big Red vending machine

One of my favorite memories-

Going to William Stigall’s store in San Gabriel in the middle of the summer and getting an ice cold Big Red sody water (or just sody to my Nana) out of the side-opening soda machine.

Now the internets can begin the celebration as I join the wonderful world of blobs. Be prepared to hear my ramblings, opinions, rants, and other such stuff as I meander (wander, charge[?]) through life on this big blue marble.

Please do not talk (very loudly!) about sports on mornings when my ipod battery runs out. That is all.

Marie Osmond has collapsed!

I was sitting there and suddenly

she started dancing and cha-cha-ing

and you said it was mambo-ing

but mambo-ing makes you move

different so it was really cha-cha-ing and

dancing and I was in such a hurry

to meet you but the traffic

was acting exactly like ‘Dancing with the Stars’

and suddenly I see a headline

MARIE OSMOND HAS COLLAPSED!

there is no snow in Chicago (yet)

there is no rain in Illinois

I have been to lots of dances

and acted perfectly disgraceful

but I never actually collapsed

oh Marie Osmond we love you get up
